    Joyful Learning

    A recount of activities conducted in KG I to make learning more interesting are given below.

    Fun with puzzles : Puzzles are an important learning tool for the young learners as it improves their cognitive skills, hand -eye co ordination use of fine motor skills to pick and grasp objects and put into slots and sorting and assembling them into the cavities of the board. It provided a boost to their self-confidence as they independently created completed puzzles.

    Cards and counters : Children were given counters and were asked to place them according to the numbers mention on the cards. This helped the children to count. The students also formed a clear image of the number in their mind.

    Matching activity : Children had to match Alphabets in the uppercase to the correspondinglowercase letter and say the sound of the alphabet given with the help of picture flash cards.They also had to utter the first sound of the word. This activity helped the children to improve their thinking and vocabulary.
