    Peer Mentoring

    It was a day of learning and peer mentoring for the students of classes VIII to XII when our proud alumnae of the batch of 2018-19 walked back into our school gates,. The students of the freshly graduated batch, currently on a journey to settle into their dream courses, at their favourite colleges, visited their Alma Mater to give their juniors a few words of advice.

    The speakers spoke of their journey at this institution of acclaimed repute, of their fun at events and the nights of effort they gave, to achieve the resume they currently hold.

    The speakers included Shraddha Rajesh, an outstanding student and the topper in the Commerce Stream, who spoke on the importance of friendship and unity. The School Executive of 2018-19, Anushka Sundaresh spoke of how NPS shaped her into being the go-getter she is. Other speakers included Gauri Bhatnagar, Rishabh Hulsulkar, Nihal Shetty. Saanika who spoke of how to rise from one’s setbacks. All of them emphasized on the importance of academics to set sail steadily, for their voyage of life endeavours. Students highlighted that time management, being balanced and organized, were the key skills required to succeed at the Boards.

    It was a moment of pride as the alumnae spoke about the various Universities of repute across the Globe that they will soon be stepping into. The batch of 2018- 19 boasts of placements in Kent University, Ohio, BITS Pilani, NID Pune, Manipal Institute, Mangalore, Christ College, Bangalore, Azim Premji University and the like. Each of them made a significant mark for themselves during the Group Discussions and Interview rounds. Students spoke of their confidence and body language, that helped them make an impact and they largely attributed it to the grooming at school.

    Team NPSI stands proud of its newly graduated batch. As they enter the new stages of their life at the various universities in and outside the country, we wish them all the very best in all their endeavours.
