  • Investiture Ceremony

    The Investiture Ceremony of NPS International, Mysore was held on Friday, 28 August 2020. The entire programme was broadcast live, enabling students and parents to watch the event, from the safe hubs of their homes. The event began with the singing of the school prayer and an invocation rendered by Samyukta of class VIII. Lighting of the lamp by the proud mothers of the elected members set the tone for a positive beginning.

    NPSI Mysore organises a multitude of events every academic year and various Association Heads play a vital role in making these events and competitions a grand success. The names of the front runners of different associations were announced. This was followed by an inspirational song presented by a few students of class V. Badges, sashes and the House flags were handed over to the Captains of the 4 houses - Janak Sunil, Aryan Devaiah, Crystal Anil and Adithi Gangamma of Challengers, Explorers, Pioneers & Voyagers respectively - amidst loud cheers from the audience on the virtual screen.

    The celebration was pepped up by a pre - recorded power packed dance performance of little champs on the virtual arena. The Principal honoured the main council members – The School Prefect - Nageshwar V, Senior Vice Prefect - Paulatsya Advait Vekaria, Junior Vice Prefect – Milan Anna Kennedy, Sports Captain – Adithya Ramaprasad, Sports Vice Captain – Dhruv Bhandari and School Executive - Chandni Kushalappa K, with the coveted badges and sash. It was an emotional and proud moment for all when the young leaders pledged to keep the school flag flying high. In her address to the gathering, the Principal congratulated the newly elected leaders and their parents. Emphasising that every child is a leader, she stressed on the importance of upholding values of humility, simplicity, commitment, integrity and empathy, at all times.

    The atmosphere was emotionally charged when the Prefect, the Executive and Sports Captain spoke on the occasion, acknowledging the vital contribution of parents, the Principal, teachers and their friends, towards this milestone. The newly elected School Council members promised to lead the school with confidence and commitment.

    Team NPSI Mysore is committed to responsible citizenship. The select members of staff, parent fraternity and student community, who were present on campus were provided with a complete safety kit and all norms of social distancing were strictly adhered to.

    Overall, the programme was a phenomenal success, taking events at NPSI Mysore to new levels of grandeur and glory.
