e Investiture Ceremony of NPS International, Mysore for the academic year 2020-21 was held on Friday, 28 August with
great dignity and pride. e main council members were present in school, accompanied by their parents. Other students had
the privilege to watch this ceremony through live broadcasts.

Articulation Perspective

e Investiture Ceremony signi�es the reliance and con�dence that the school
consigns in the newly invested main council members. e ceremony commenced
with the lighting of the lamp by our Principal, Ms Shubha Achaiah along with
parents of main council members invoking the blessings of the Almighty, followed
by the school prayer. Shouldering the responsibility of their position by holding
their house �ags high, the newly invested Council Members pledged to bestow their
duties to the best of their abilities.

Our Principal, in her speech, appreciated and congratulated the main council members. She also advised them to be role
models and extend a supporting hand for the smooth running of the school. e inducted council members expressed their
gratitude to the school and parents, and promised to uphold the NPS spirit. e ceremony concluded with the school song.

One of the most coveted experiences you can have at NPSI Mysore is, in my
opinion, the election season. is is a magical period that starts with campaigning
and concludes with the most awaited Investiture Ceremony. Ever since I entered the
portals of NPSI Mysore seven years ago, it has been my dream to be a part of the
investiture ceremony 2020 and get a chance to serve my school as the Prefect. On 28
August 2020, I was �nally living my dream and it was be er than I could have ever
imagined. I was in awe when I saw how we overcame the many adversities of the
situation and still conducted an investiture ceremony in such a grand manner. is
is an experience that I will keep deep in my heart for a very long time to come.
