celebrated Onam
festival on 3 September
in our school. We had a grand
virtual celebration. We saw the
colourful Pookalam made by
the teachers. ey danced and
sang beautifully. I enjoyed
the show.

Onam
is a beautiful festival
celebrated in Kerala. It is
celebrated to commemorate King
Mahabali. We had a virtual celebration at
our school, due to the pandemic. I was excited
to watch the programme at home on the
computer. e school was decorated with
beautiful Pookalam. Our teachers were dressed in
traditional Kerala a ire. Some students had
prepared Pookalam at home and their pictures
were displayed. I enjoyed watching the
programme and I hope to be back at
school, soon.
