"Eureka" conducted by Rotary Brindavan School on August 22, was a great exposure for us. Essay writing, debate, model making and quiz were the range of competitions conducted. The models set up by the school helped us to get a practical view of concepts like magnetism, Newton’s laws of motion and conservation of energy.

Science model making included solar, wind and bio gas conservation and recycling as the theme. The rap song presented by our group about our model, captivated the attention of the judges and all other viewers. We received a good exposure about many experiments at the mobile van set up by University of Mysore. ‘Innovation’ is the learning that we brought back with us. This competition led us to think bigger and come up with innovative and creative ideas for the development of the society and tackle major problems like water scarcity.

Overall, it was a great learning for all of us, which incorporated practical concepts beyond the horizons of the text book.
