On 4 July, 2019, 20 teams from class IX to XII participated in the Conquiztador quiz competition hosted by PES University. Students from five different schools participated in this event.

The first round of the quiz was a preliminary written round with questions ranging from mythology to sports. Out of the 62 teams in total, the top 8 teams were selected for the finals in which 2 teams were from NPSI Mysore. The finals of the Zonal round consisted of 3 rounds in total- ‘bounce and pounce’, ‘written round’ and ‘visual connect with a plethora of unique questions. The two teams that got into the top 8 were Eeshaan K B and Prithvi Vishak of class IX and Gaurav Harindra and Inchara P of class XII. Eeshaan K B and Prithvi Vishak, who emerged as winners in the finals of the zonal round, will be representing NPSI Mysore in the National Level Competition, to be held in November at PES University, Bangalore.

It was a great learning experience for the students and they understood the importance of observing every minute detail in the surroundings. Overall the quiz engaged students in fun activities and the students returned, enriched in knowledge and learning.
