  • Flavour without Flame

    Our Grade 5 students took part in an engaging and educational activity titled “Flavour Without Flame” as part of their Food and Health lesson. The aim of this activity was to encourage students to prepare simple, healthy, and tasty dishes without using fire. Each child brought fresh ingredients such as bread, butter, sprouts, chopped vegetables, fruits, curd, salt, and lemon. Working in teams, they prepared a variety of dishes like vegetable sandwiches, fruit salads, and sprout mixes. The classroom was filled with excitement as students displayed creativity in presentation and learned the importance of hygiene, nutrition, and teamwork. It was delightful to see their enthusiasm as they shared and tasted each other’s preparations. This activity helped students understand that nutritious food can be prepared safely without cooking and inspired them to make healthy eating a part of their daily lives.
