Hyderabad - Sun, Fun and lots of learning
The three-day, two-night school trip to Hyderabad, held on 29–31 August, was an exciting blend of history, culture, fun and friendship. Accompanied by Class 10 students and teachers the Class 12 students set out to explore the many attractions of the city.
The trip included visits to the magnificent Chowmahalla Palace and the iconic Charminar, where we got a glimpse of Hyderabad’s rich royal and cultural heritage. We also explored the Salar Jung Museum, which housed an impressive collection of historical artefacts and artwork. The visit to Golconda Fort was equally fascinating, as we learnt about its remarkable architecture and historical significance.
One of the biggest highlights was Ramoji Film City. Its huge film sets and entertaining attractions made it an enjoyable experience for everyone. We also visited Birla Mandir, which provided a peaceful break from our busy schedule. An exciting DJ boat ride added to the fun, with music, dancing and plenty of laughter shared among everyone.
Nothing, however, compared to the legendary Hyderabadi biryani at Bawarchi—rich, aromatic, and bursting with flavour. The perfectly cooked rice, tender meat, and unforgettable spice blend made it a culinary highlight of the trip, an experience we'll be talking about for a long time.
Overall, the trip was a memorable experience filled with new discoveries, laughter, delicious food and unforgettable moments with our friends and teachers.
