School excursions are exciting times for students who can’t wait for them to begin. Class 8 students had a similar experience when they went for a two day stay at the Windflower resort and Spa, Coorg. The quiet, serene and naturalistic ambience of the resort coupled with the facilities they provided, made for a comfortable stay for the students.

The plush accommodation, infinity pool overlooking the dining area, loads of indoor activities, kept the students engaged and they also got to play the team games specially organized for them by the resort authorities. A wide variety of lip-smacking platter, which was liked by the students, was offered during breakfast, lunch and dinner. Students were also taken for a nature walk in the neighbouring coffee estate, to acquaint them with the flora and fauna of the region and give them an insight into the types of coffee bean, harvesting and processing methods.

In all, it was a memorable and informative trip for the students, who would cherish the wonderful memories for years to come.
