The students of Class XI had the wonderful opportunity of spending two days, 6 and 7 November, 2019, at the picturesque Windflower resort located in Vythiri, Kerala. The journey of four and half hours was fun filled and the students were excited to see wildlife on the way as they passed through the Bandipur forest.

After the exciting journey, they enjoyed a scrumptious lunch comprising of local delicacies. Then they ventured out towards the pool, swam, played and explored the place, making most of every moment they had.

In the evening, the students enjoyed doing an array of activities aimed at enhancing teamwork and communication skills. They also danced to various Hollywood and Bollywood numbers. The management team at the resort left no stone unturned in keeping the students actively engaged.

The next day, the students were up bright and early to take an invigorating trek up the hills of the vast tea plantation just outside the resort. The view from the top of the hill was breathtaking- the tea bushes looked like tiny compartments that made up an endless maze. Back at the resort, Indian Grey Hornbills, woodpeckers, oriental magpie robins and large pied wagtails were flocking the greenery. This escapade amidst nature, was indeed delightful.

The students left Wayanad in the afternoon with countless memories to cherish.
