On 24 July 2019, students of NPSI Mysore from classes 3 to 4 were all set to go to NPS HSR, Bangalore for Sub Juniors Basket ball tournament. The event was held in two categories, for boys and girls. There were more than six schools competing. Our team, looking smart in their jerseys, was confident and set forth with energy and enthusiasm.

The organising school NPS HSR did a splendid job indeed and made sure that the sporting event was well organised. The two teams entered semifinals and in each match, they learnt how to improve skills and strategy to play and this enhanced their team spirit. This event provided the much needed exposure to the sub-juniors team, who got a glimpse of the competitive world outside. It also was a major boost in shaping their personality, as our students interacted with other teams and made new friends. This experience was truly a lifetime opportunity for our students as this was the first time the sub juniors took part outside Mysore. This tournament will remain etched in their memories, in the years to come.
