On the 6, 7 and 8 August 2019, the football team of NPSI Mysore had the opportunity to participate in the under-16 tournament for boys organized by Mahabodhi school in Mysore. It was held at the University Football Ground. This experience was truly a lifetime opportunity.

The team played four matches in three days. In each one of these matches, they learnt how to improve skills and strategy to play, and this enhanced their team spirit.

They played the finals against Mahabodhi school and lost in penalties. For the first time in the history of our school, the school junior football team won a Runners up trophy. Although the weather did not favour either of the teams, the game went on smoothly and the players handled all the hindrances very well.

Overall, this experience will be unforgettable, Janak Sunil of class XI was awarded the trophy for the best Goal Keeper. The team of NPS International Mysore also bagged a cash prize of Rs. 3000.
