Students of Class 6 launched an endeavor of ‘Joy of Giving’ during their outdoor odyssey, while visiting an orphanage, Ajithanele on 04 December 2023.

Ajithanele is an orphanage for boys between the age of 10 and 18 that is home to about 30 students. Our students donated groceries, snacks. stationery and mattresses generously. The day was meant to not just celebrate Joy of Giving, but also to spread smiles.

The team from NPS enthralled the inmates through a variety of cultural programmes. The games which were organized and conducted for the inmates was fun filled and enjoyable. To our surprise, the boys of the foundation performed a breathtaking dance acrobatics.

The day was memorable and fruitful which gave an opportunity for the children of class 6 to learn and understand how privileged they are. They also learnt that joy knows no bounds, when it is shared with others.
