  • Discovering Joy of Learning through Nature

It was a revitalizing endeavor for the students of Class 5 to witness Oxygen Acres, a haven of greenery, as part of their outdoor learning.

A hundred enthusiastic learners from Classes 5 A, B, and C encountered a variety of Jersey and HF cows and marveled at a newborn calf that had taken its first breath just two hours earlier during their visit. They also gained insight into the fodder given to the cattle and the process of breeding them.

Learning about biogas and its uses rekindled their knowledge of Science. Relishing the cool, flavored lassi, sharing lip-smacking savories, and capturing the majesty of a century-old banyan tree through their lenses were among the highlights of the outing. The visit proved to be a truly great learning experience for all the young minds—showing that learning can certainly be super fun amidst nature.

The visit also enlightened the students about the organically grown fodder provided to the cattle on the farm, which in turn produced organically processed products such as ghee, paneer, curd, and cheese—of the utmost quality compared to other milk resources and their products.

The students keenly observed the entire barn in amazement and took notes, with many of their curious questions answered by the resource person.
