Montessori Juniors and KG 1 students went on a memorable and enriching field trip to Planet Earth Aquarium and Pet Park on 28 November 2025. The excitement began right from school as the children eagerly waited to board the bus.

Upon reaching the destination, the children were thrilled to explore the fascinating world of aquatic, farm, exotic, and domestic animals. The aquarium section immediately captured their attention with its vibrant display of different species of fish, encouraging them to observe colours, shapes, and underwater movements closely.

As they moved into the Pet Park, the excitement grew even more. The children were amazed to see an incredible variety of animals and birds such as red-billed toucans, love birds, cockatoos, sugar gliders, pocket monkeys, Brahma fowls, guinea pigs, hamsters, and many more. The sight of the Aviary filled with colourful, chirping birds was a highlight for many, capturing their imagination and filling them with wonder. Which helped them connect classroom learning with real-life experiences.

The students showed great interest in learning about the origin and habitats of different birds and animals, asking thoughtful questions and absorbing new information with enthusiasm.

After the exploration, snack time brought immense joy as the children happily enjoyed their refreshing food. Sitting together, chatting, and munching on treats made the moment even more special for them.

The bus was once again filled with songs, stories, laughter, and proud recaps of everything they had learned. It was heart-warming to see how confidently they spoke about their favourite creatures and the interesting facts they had discovered.

This field trip provided rich experiential learning, enhancing the children’s knowledge of animal diversity, habitats, and characteristics. It strengthened their observation skills, vocabulary, social interactions, and their curiosity about the world around them.

The visit to Planet Earth Aquarium and Pet Park was not just a trip—it was a day of discovery, joy, and wonder, with a fun outdoor snack time, making it a perfect mix of learning and fun
