A day to mark childhood and to make this event a memorable for our little ones, National Public School, Mysore celebrated Children’s Day on a virtual platform on 13 November, a day prior to Children’s Day.

The children witnessed the teachers presenting a plethora of events to delight, entertain and regale the students. The programme began with souls stirring and mellifluous renditions of songs which enthralled the students. The Principal, MS Akhila Dinesh urged everyone to maintain the childlike innocence in the heart. The students appreciated the different forms of dance performed by their dazzling teachers. The stand up comedy with all its humor and witty dialogues received cheerful appreciation from all. The Middle Leaders gave astonishment to the viewers with an inspiring journey showcasing artistic flair of dance from various countries. What rocked the stage was a foot tapping performance when Akkas and Bhayyas put on their dancing shoes and presented a medley of dances. The skit “School of Spirits” doubled the joy when they saw their teachers essaying the roles of spirits. The message conveyed through the play however trickled into the viewers, where most of them could relate to it.

The most remarkable day was concluded with great zeal and enthusiasm. The heartfelt appreciation, likes and comments by the students are a testimony to the grand success of the celebration.
