Graduation Day
Graduation day is the much-awaited event in every student’s life, as it is reminiscence of school stories and the rewards for the efforts put in by them throughout their academic endeavor. The seventh graduation ceremony was celebrated at NPSI, Mysore on Saturday, 5 March 2022. The first mega event held on campus, post pandemic, was infused with triumph and grandeur. Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Gupta, CEO of KDEM, MD & CEO, Lahari, promoted by Government of India, Government of Karnataka and Indian Industry, was the guest of honor. Dr K P Gopalkrishna, Chairman and Founder Principal and Dr Bindu Hari, Vice Chairman, NPS Group and the proud parents of the 49 graduating students were also present on the ceremonial occasion. The programme commenced with the lighting of the lamp - symbolic of a new beginning and bright phase in the lives of our dear students. This was followed by a graceful classical dance. Dr K P Gopalkrishna congratulated the graduands and motivated them to pursue their passion.Addressing the gathering, Dr Bindu Hari, spoke about stepping stones to success and advised the students to believe in their abilities and to be aware of the “Circle of life”.Mr. Sanjeev, quoting instances from his own life, told the students to be open to experiences, keep their life like an empty canvas and paint the picture of their dreams. Two representatives from the parent community spoke on this occasion and expressed their gratitude to the school and teachers for creating the right environment, that has led to holistic development of their wards. The student speakers conveyed gratitude to the school for the various opportunities and platforms, which they believe, has helped to transform them positively. All graduands pledged to keep the school flag flying high, no matter where they go. The Principal, Ms. Akhila Dinesh proudly declared the students as graduands and expressed that she felt immensely proud and extremely impressed by their collective achievements.In her motivational speech, she aptly quoted lines from ‘The Road Not Taken’, a poem by Robert Frost, and told the students that success is all about making the right choices in life, with a never give up attitude. She also extolled upon the graduands to keep the treasure trove of their values intact and make a difference to the world. The students received their coveted mementos from the dignitaries. The special mentor moments video by the teachers, the exclusive student expressions, the melodious songs and the rendition of the Gurupaduka Stotram- all added to the magic of the evening, making it even more galactic. The programme culminated with a lavish dinner, lots of thank you hugs, moist eyes and a trip down the memory lane, which will be treasured in our hearts forever.
