YOGA AT HOME, YOGA WITH FAMILY
‘Yoga is an invaluable gift of India’s ancient tradition it embodies unity of mind and body. It gives a holistic approach for having a disease free body and a stress free mind. Team NPSI Mysore came together on the virtual platform and celebrated International Yoga Day on June 21st , with great enthusiasm. The theme for the day was ‘YOGA AT HOME, YOGA WITH FAMILY’.
The programme commenced with a speech on the importance of yoga and was followed by a display of different asanas performed by the students and teachers, interspersed with a commentary on the benefit of each asana.
The Principal, Ms Akhila Dinesh, in her address, encouraged the students to practice yoga regularly, to remain fit and improve their concentration. She also added that yoga helps everyone to grow physically, mentally and spiritually, which is vital for overall health and well-being.
