Every year NPS International, Mysore conducts Young Entrepreneurship program (yep) for students with an objective to inculcate entrepreneurial skills in them. Students are involved in making and marketing the products made by them. The investment is returned to the investors and the profits are given away in charity.

The YEP-2021-22 was unique as the entire event was strategized, designed and executed virtually. Students of class 8 were put in teams. Every team had to brainstorm and explore ways to create two products by remodelling and restoring old materials that could be easily procured.

The students, astounded NPSI fraternity with their ‘out of box’ ideas and proved that all humans indeed have the spirit of entrepreneurship imbibed in them. This year it was decided to give away the profits to a charitable trust, the school chose Divya Jyothi Charitable Trust (For the Disabled), Dattagalli, Mysore, for the same.

A team of students along with a few faculty members visited the organization and handed over the profit amount. The students returned happy that they had contributed for a cause.
