The morning of 14th November 2022 dawned with the warm welcome for the children of NPSI, Mysore.

Bees and butterflies was the theme and it was fascinating to watch children in creative hair-do, in accordance with the theme. The teachers too came dressed in colourful attire, pleasantly surprising the students.

Teachers put up a variety of performances for their students with enthusiasm, passion and joy. The programme commenced with a welcome speech followed by a musical band. Teachers sang the popular numbers in melody and children swayed to the music. The children clapped and cheered as teachers danced to rhythmic beats and fusion numbers. The skit performed by teachers, depicting a fairy tale with a twist, had the children in splits. The icing on the cake was a dance number performed by the support staff members. Speaking on the occasion, the Principal, Ms Akhila Dinesh conveyed her warm wishes to all the students. She said that childhood is the most beautiful and precious phase of life and children must strive to keep their childlike innocence and simplicity intact.

As part of children’s day celebrations, classes 1 to 12 had activities conducted by the class teachers. It was actually bonding time between the students and the teachers. To make the day funfilled, the students even had movie time, Children enjoyed sharing their snacks and lunches with their peers.

The faculty members kept the children entertained the whole day with the plethora of events, games, activities and movies. This children’s day, students not only realized how great it is to be a child, but also felt grateful that their childhood is made special by amazing teachers and supporting staff, who give their best to ensure that children create loads of happy memories, each day that they come to school.
