Spin a tale is no easy task. This endeavour, the brainchild of Dr. Bindu Hari, aims at building up creativity and love for writing. It also works as an impetus for aspiring young writers. Class 5 students happily invited our beloved Principal Ms. Akhila Dinesh and the parents to the world of stories on 11 February 2023. The program ‘Spin a Tale’ was inaugurated by the Principal. They proudly displayed a wide range of stories having different genres. The students shared their journey of writing different genres like fantasy, horror, science fiction etc. They narrated how they were guided through the various stages of story settings and characters development. Later they were encouraged to chalk out a plot using the guidelines given to them and write in their own style, allowing their imagination to take form.

The Principal was extremely happy to listen to their enriching experience and highly appreciated them for coming up with such creativity and imagination. She gave her valuable suggestions by emphasizing the need to carry forward the zeal and interest to write and become renowned writers.

Many parents had come to witness the interesting and captivating stories. They were briefed about the different genres of stories and how they had written the stories after having attended the sessions on ‘Spin a Tale’. The parents dived deep into the world of stories as they kept reading and expressed their appreciation to the future writers and congratulated them for their efforts in coming up with rich understanding and imagination.
