FLIGHT TO FINESSE
(Induction programme @ NPSI Mysore)

The faculty orientation programme, for the staff members of NPSI Mysore, was conducted in style at Hotel Ruchi The Prince on Thursday, 12 May 2022. The programme commenced at 9 am with a lavish spread of breakfast and tea. What ensued was an informative, interactive, fun filled and interesting session that left all teachers smiling throughout.

The entire programme was themed on a flight journey towards destination ‘finesse’. Team members aboard, were served academic platters and activity treats en route. Speaking on the occasion, the Principal Ms Akhila Dinesh extended a warm welcome to the new joinees on board and presented an overview of the academic year 2021-22. The all-inclusive presentation was infused with photographs and anecdotes that brought in nostalgic memories of the eventful and productive year gone by.

The new faculty members, i.e. the new passengers on board Flight to Finesse, were introduced to the team through an interesting ice breaker activity conducted by the Admin department. The coordinators and middle leaders brought forth an elaborate platter that included details regarding formats, lesson plans, class observations, daily records, events, field trips, guest lectures, training programmes, model classes, collaborative learning, evaluation and assessments. The session was packed with vital information regarding schedules, protocols and policies. There was not a single dull moment, because each of the coordinator captains conducted interesting activities for the faculty members during their presentation sessions.

This interactive programme was followed by lip-smacking elaborate lunch served at Hotel Ruchi. The post lunch session was fun-filled with lots of music, dance and team building games. The dance floor came alive with all teachers being at their expressive best. The Flight to Finesse completed its learning journey, successfully preparing all passengers and crew members on board, to execute their duties par excellence, on the field. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks and best wishes to all team members of NPSI Mysore, for the academic year 2022-23.
