Christmas was celebrated with great festive fervor at NPSI Mysore on 22 December. The students of class 7 put up a fantastic show that highlighted the significance of the festival. The entire school has each class decked up with Christmas trees, lights and stars. The programme commenced in the morning and was infused with enthusiasm throughout. Students of the primary, middle and senior years presented melodious carols. Students of class 7 also sang carols and put forth a lively dance performance. The surprise elements unfolded when Santa Claus and Elves rode through the campus on bikes even as the children cheered and clapped with joy. The Principal, Ms Akhila Dinesh, congratulated the students and teachers for putting up such a wonderful show. She also emphasized on the spirit of charity and the joy of giving, that each one of us must imbibe, to lead meaningful lives. Winners of various interschool and interhouse competitions were felicitated and the celebrations conducted on a happy note.
