Twilight Fiesta – Night Camp for Class 3
The Night Camp, Twilight Fiesta held on 12 January 2024 for students of class 3 was a resounding success, filled with a myriad of activities that left students entertained and engaged. The night camp is the pilot project introduced for the Primary division of students and is the brainchild of our Principal, Ms. Akhila Dinesh. The evening unfolded with a movie screening, followed by a magical performance, a lively bonfire session, stand-up comedy, various dance forms a rap song showcase, and an intriguing mime act. The evening commenced with a movie screening of “The Magician’s Elephant” in the auditorium. The choice of the film resonated well with the diverse audience, setting a positive tone for the night ahead. Students were actively engaged in various activities such as bouncy castle, dance extravaganza and exciting games in the playground. This was followed by a delicious snack time for all the students in the multipurpose hall.
A spellbinding magic show captivated the audience as the magician seamlessly blended illusions with humour. Gasps of amazement echoed through the campsite as participants were treated to a series of mind-boggling tricks, creating an enchanting ambiance that lingered throughout the evening. The central element of the night was the bonfire, where students gathered around to share stories, laughter, and warmth. The crackling flames served as the backdrop for a night filled with camaraderie, fostering a sense of unity among the campers.
Laughter echoed through the night as a stand-up comedian took on the stage, delivering a hilarious set that had everyone in stitches. Later, the enthusiastic students grooved foot tapping numbers for the hit songs and set a perfect atmosphere for the bonfire night. Energizing beats filled the air as the talented rappers showcased their skills, bringing a dynamic element to the night camp. The rhythmic flow and engaging lyrics resonated with the diverse audience, adding a musical dimension to the overall experience. The night concluded with a captivating mime performance that left the audience in awe. The silent storytelling and expressive gestures conveyed a range of emotions, providing a unique and thought-provoking conclusion to the night's festivities.
Before ending the campfire, the students and teachers shook- a- leg together themselves to the high energy disco songs. A scrumptious dinner was arranged and everyone tasted the delicacies with lots of love and gratitude. Further, students were sent to their respective sleep rooms. The teachers had planned various activities such as magic show, storytelling, video time and games to make their night stay with their friends more memorable. Principal, teachers, admin staff and support staff made sure to give the students an enriching experience at the night camp.
The Night Camp activities, including movie time, magic show, bonfire gathering, games and food collectively created an unforgettable experience for the students. The grade 3 students left the school with cherished memories, strengthened bonds, and a sense of camaraderie that will endure beyond the campsite on the morning of 13 January 2024 at 7am
