Dasara is the festival that symbolises victory over evil. Mysore is very well known for its splendid Dasara celebration. This year the celebration at NPSI Mysore was phenomenal. The programme consisted of melodious songs and mind-blowing showcase of nine Avatars of the Divine Mother. Students of six class, dressed as the nine incarnations of Devi, looked divine and resplendent.

A Dandiya workshop organised on the previous day, for all the students from pre-primary to class 12, had everyone grooving to the beats and swaying to the rhythm. The vibrant attires and the beats of the Dandiya sticks set the perfect tone for the festivities to begin. The traditional display of dolls in the front office, conveyed the essence of our rich heritage and customs to our students. The Principal, Ms Akhila Dinesh, addressed the students and encouraged them to tread on the path of righteousness at all times. She congratulated the team of teachers and students of class 6 for putting up a wonderful programme.
