  • Founders’ Day Celebration

    NPSI Mysore completed a glorious decade and stepped into its eleventh year on 14 June 2023. The Tenth Founders’ Day was a momentous occasion, to honour the vision and legacy of our founders, Chairman,Dr KP Gopalkrishna and Dean, Dr Mrs Santhamma Gopalkrishna, who are inspirational pioneers, who dared to dream big, take risks, and showed the world that it takes one great idea to change the world for the better. Their unwavering commitment to innovation and creating a positive impact on society, has laid the foundation for the success of the NPS Group. Their enduring values, such as humility, integrity, collaboration, and social responsibility, have been deeply ingrained in our organization. We carry these values forward, ensuring that our actions and decisions align with the principles laid down by our founders. Looking back at the past ten years, we witness the tremendous growth and accomplishments that are a testament to the founders' vision.




    14 June 2023- the day dawned bright and the school wore a festive look. The corridors, pillars and auditorium were decorated with creative paper cut-outs, photo collages and inspirational captions in honour of the respectable members of the Board of Governors. The programme commenced at 9 am sharp and the event was graced by esteemed Director and vice chairperson of the NPS Group, Dr. Bindu Hari, Mentor principal Mrs. Shanta Chandran and Principal of NPSI Mysore, Ms. Akhila Dinesh.

    The event began with lighting of the lamp and invocation of the divine. The principal, Ms. Akhila Dinesh, delivered an inspiring speech highlighting the school’s journey, achievements, and its commitment to providing excellence in education. She emphasized the values instilled by the founders and how they continue to guide the school’s mission and vision. She expressed her gratitude to the board of governors for their unstinted support during the dynamic decade gone by.

    The event also featured alumni students, Vivek Mithra and Deepaknarayan S Bharadwaj, who spoke eloquently about their experiences at NPSI Mysore and the positive impact it has had on their lives. They shared personal anecdotes, academic achievements, and highlighted the nurturing environment that helped shape their careers. The alumni speakers served as inspirational role models for current students, motivating them to aim high and pursue their dreams. The student speaker, Kavya Pradeep of Class 12 and teacher speaker Ms Suchita Subramani, who have been with the school since its inception, embarked on a journey down the memory lane and expressed how NPSI Mysore has given them an identity to be proud of. A video, with snippets of the ten years gone by, was nostalgic. The décor of the entire school is themed on ‘10’. A quiz, a guest lecture and poster making were also part of founders’ week celebration.

    The Founder’s Day celebration was further enriched by captivating cultural performances. Students showcased their talents through music symphony and dance. The enthralling fusion music was an ensemble of Indian and western instruments, and was accompanied by a live painting done by two students, Nischala and Prarthana, on stage. The dance performance, a mélange of Bhartnatyam, Kathak and contemporary, reflected the vision and mission of our school, leaving the audience spellbound and appreciative of the talents displayed.

    The highlight of the event was the eagerly anticipated release of the school magazine Silhouette, that is a depiction of the decade of dedication. The latest edition was unveiled by esteemed chief guests, principal, chief editor and chief designer. The magazine showcases students’ creative talents and academic achievements and captures the essence of school’s vibrant community.

    Director, Dr Bindu Hari delivered a thought provoking speech, emphasizing the importance of education and the vision. She commended the school for its commitment to excellence and complimented Team NPSI Mysore for having put up such a wonderful show.

    The event was a resounding success, encapsulating the spirit of gratitude, reflection, and growth. It served as a reminder to the school community of the vision and values laid down by the founders, and their enduring impact on shaping the lives of students. The event reaffirmed the school’s commitment to providing quality education and holistic development, ensuring that the legacy of the founders continues to thrive for generations to come.
