  • MILESTONES AND MEMORIES - 9TH GRADUATION DAY CELEBRATION AT NPSI, MYSORE

    The auditorium buzzed with excitement on 19th January 2024, as NPSI Mysore celebrated its 9th Graduation Day, marking the culmination of a transformative journey for the 2023-24 batch of Grade 12 students. The day marked not only an end but also a new beginning for these bright graduands.

    The event began by invoking the blessings of the Almighty through lighting of the lamp followed by an invocation dance performed by the students of Classes 8 to 10. The welcome address was delivered by the Director and Vice Chairperson Dr. Bindu Hari. In her speech, she encouraged the graduands to embrace challenges. She stressed upon how graduation marks the transformation from being a ‘receiver’ to a ‘contributor’ to the society and urged the graduands to be contributors wherever they go. She reminded the graduands that their destiny is the summation of the choices that they make. The air was filled with applause as each graduand walked across the stage, receiving their momentos and leaving a trail of accomplishments.

    A glimpse of the journey of students at NPSI, Mysore, and a surprise video from the teachers of Class 12 were displayed on the celluloid which captured the overwhelming moments of the graduands at school. The student speakers Ishani B. Menon, R. Rudharth and Kavya Pradeep skilfully weaved together shared experiences, emphasizing the collective challenges, triumphs, and growth that defined the graduating class. The parent speakers Mr. Arun Padmanathan and Dr. Roshni Dilip spoke about their wards’ journey and growth at NPSI, Mysore. They thanked the school for providing holistic education and urged the graduands to chase their dreams, at the same time, do good for the society. The School Prefect Kavya Pradeep administered the oath to the graduating class, where each child pledged to stride ahead on the path of knowledge, values and integrity to reach out, reach high and reach beyond!

    The Principal, Ms Akhila Dinesh, shared words of wisdom, reflecting on the resilience and potential of the graduating class. Recalling the moments spent with the batch, she appreciated them for their unity and positive attitude. She advised the students to never compromise on their ethics and always try to make a positive impact on the world. She proudly declared the 2023-24 batch students as graduands.

    The graduands presented melodious songs on gratitude and it served as a heartfelt expression of their thankfulness. The auditorium reverberated with Gurupadaka Shloka sung by the teacher choir group. The melodies added depth to the ceremony, enhancing the reflective mood and underscoring the emotional significance of the moment. Naba Fathima and Nischala Gowda of Class 12 proposed the vote of thanks, acknowledging the efforts of everyone who contributed to the success of the event.

    As the ceremony came to a conclusion, the collective gaze turned toward the horizon of infinite possibilities. The ceremony was not just an end but a bridge to a future where the lessons learned, friendships forged, and challenges overcome would serve as guiding lights. The ceremony was a prelude to the remarkable stories, successes and adventures that the future holds for each graduand.
