Kannada Rajyotsava was celebrated with great enthusiasm at NPSI Mysore by the students of class 8 in the assembly area on the bright and sunny morning of November 23, 2023. Students showcased their talent and exhibited their love for our state, Karnataka by enthusiastically participating in a patriotic celebration. The children uplifted everyone’s mood by performing folk dances such as Yakshagana, Veragase, Hulivesha and Pattadakunitha. They sang lavani captivating the audience and instilling a sense of appreciation for Karnataka's artistic legacy.

The amazing facts about Karnataka added to the knowledge of the audience. The celebration of Kannada Rajyotsava at school concluded with a sense of unity and pride. The event provided students with an opportunity to learn and appreciate the rich cultural heritage of Karnataka. The ceremony ended with the Kannada Naadageethe and an inspirational Kannada speech given by our dear Principal Ms Akhila Dinesh where she highlighted the importance of maintaining and cherishing our local heritage and culture.

The event generated a sense of pride in the minds of the audience, for being part of a culture that is so rich and vibrant.
