Our school, NPSI Mysore, organized a family sports event for the tiny tots of Preprimary and their parents on 30 September 2023. The Principal, Ms Akhila Dinesh, welcomed the parents and cited the importance of sports for children in her speech. Parents and students took part in the event in colour coded sports attire and they were all set to play a variety of age appropriate games arranged in different venues by the teachers.

The games Bursting the fruit, Looping the hoop and Balancing the cone were conducted for Montessori Beginners. It was sheer excitement to watch little buddies of Montessori Juniors and KG 1 taking part in- Re number me, Maze-ma stick and Stack – O – Pegs. The parents and students of Montessori Seniors and KG 2 toed the line by playing Balancing the ball, Fill – O – Maze and Count-me-in.

It was a delight to watch parents team up with their little ones and participate in all the events with enthusiasm and sportive spirit.

Our Principal Ms Akhila Dinesh presented certificates to the winning teams in each game.

The event concluded with a flash mob where all parents, students and teachers swayed to the beats of Zumba. The EY sector stakeholders thoroughly enjoyed Kiddathon 2023 and carried home happy memories of the day.
