Martyrs’ Day
On 30 January 2024 as nation observed Martyrs day in memory of the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, NPSI, Mysore paid homage to Martyrs, during its morning assembly session. The assembly speech on Martyrs' Day was delivered by Vishruth R, Navya Godara, and Zion Leejoy of class 6. The speakers delved into the historical background of Martyrs' Day, shedding light on key events and the sacrifices made by brave individuals who fought for India's independence. They emphasized the importance of observing Martyrs' Day as a way to express gratitude towards those who laid down their lives for the country. They conveyed a sense of responsibility among their peers to remember and honor the sacrifices made for the freedom we enjoy today and encouraged everyone to reflect on the shared history that binds us together as a nation and to carry forward the spirit of patriotism. As these young students successfully conveyed the message of remembrance, unity, and pride, leaving a lasting impact on their peers, as a school community, we are reminded on this significant day, the importance of honoring our national heroes and continuing to uphold the values for which they fought.
