NPSI Mysore believes in establishing a strong line of communication and progressive partnership with the parent fraternity, to ensure all-round development of students. As a result, the school warmly welcomes all parents and students, during the onset of every new academic year, to its portals, for Connect- an orientation programme that shines light on the nuances of the school policies, protocols and plans for the year ahead.

The objective of Connect, is to provide a detailed insight to stakeholders, into the practices adopted by the school, at various levels, to make the students efficient at the academic and social platforms, creating skilled learners of the 21st century. This year, Connect 2023- was conducted during the entire month of June, for new parents and their wards, who have joined the NPS family and for all existing parent partners and students of preprimary to class 12.

The Principal Ms Akhila Dinesh and the team of coordinators and subject teachers, touched upon various aspects of scholastic and co-scholastic areas of learning, such as Board results, grading system, curriculum, academic support, subject specific inputs, assessment schedules, events, code of conduct, digital detox, skill development workshops for teachers and year round plans.

The principal, in her address, stressed upon the school philosophy, which is student – centric. She highlighted the role of parental support and emphasized that nurturing students is a shared responsibility of the school and parents. During the Q& A session that ensued, parents interacted actively, expressed their concerns and voiced their queries, which were patiently and aptly addressed by the Principal.

The programme was a fruitful one, as there was a good turnout of parents. This event provided a platform for parents, students and teachers to connect and pledge to work in collaboration for the overall benefit of students. Parents felt empowered in all the orientation sessions as they gained a deeper understanding into the functioning of the school and they were happy to have made NPSI Mysore, their choice, for their child’s learning journey.
