  • Pre Primary Independence Day

On Monday, 14 August; the pre-primary students celebrated Independence Day at school. Students were traditionally dressed in each colour of the tricolour. The attire was class wise with saffron, white and green. They prepared creative tricolour crafts. Children enjoyed and relished their tri coloured snacks.

A well organised programme was planned by pre-primary teachers for the students to instil patriotism in young minds and the importance of the national flag with a melodious patriotic song. Teachers enacted a skit to convey the significance of tricolour. A few students were dressed as freedom fighters and spoke a few sentences about them to enlighten us about independence day. They watched a video depicting the story of being independent and respecting our national flag.

Our beloved principal Akhila ma’am encouraged the students to name the freedom fighters and spoke about the essence of Independence day. Teachers’ also sang a patriotic song ‘Sare Jahan se Achha”.

Children were given chocolates as a token of love and celebration. It was a memorable and a fun filled eve of Independence Day
