A social science is any branch of academic study or science that deals with human behaviour in its social and cultural aspects. Usually included within the social sciences are cultural (or social) anthropology, sociology, psychology, political science, and economics.

On 2nd September NPSI Mysore conducted ‘SOCIONEX’ for grade 6 and 7 students.

School programmes are a wonderful way to enthuse students and to help the integration of both the class and the community of school.

They develop management and organisational skills of students, create opportunities to involve students into several activities, provide an occasion to demonstrate our respect for culture displaying the diversity of students' life and interests.

Our esteemed principal, Ms. Akhila Dinesh inaugurated the ceremony.

Students of classes 6 and 7 were given divided into different groups and topicslike Hot and Cold Desert, Mughal Empire Timeline, Wildlife Conservation, Political and commercial advertisements to explore their talents in their respective classes. The Students proudly showcased their talents through charts, Models and by emphasizing the importance of our country to the parents, the event provided a valuable learning experience for the students.

In short, SocioNex was not only an experience but a memory which is to stay in the minds of both the students and parents
