The University Fair held at NPSI Mysore on October 7, 2023, proved to be an exhilarating event for students of grades 9 to 12. It opened doors to a wide array of educational possibilities beyond their high school years.

The Principal, Ms Akhila Dinesh, extended a warm welcome to the university delegates, students and parents. She emphasized on the importance of career fair and how information empowerment helps in making right decisions and appropriate career choices.

The fair was not only a glimpse into the careers of the learners but also a clearer image of what their future could hold. The students, together with their parents, were acquainted with several esteemed universities, including Chanakya University, O. P. Jindal University, Jain University, Flame University, Hetic & Strate School of Design, Global Atria University, Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design & Technology, IDP, Vidyashilp University, NMIMS University, Alliance University, GITAM University, and Presidency University. The representatives from these universities provided comprehensive insights into their course offerings, state-of-the-art facilities, as well as the various scholarships and opportunities available to students. They were then guided to the individual kiosks for each university, where they could inquire more about the courses offered by them.

This pilot project has sowed a seed of inquisition and curiosity in both students and parents concerning their future career prospects. It will help in creating a successful path even after they leave the portals of this institution, nurturing and fostering their dreams and aspirations. This maiden University Fair, a brainchild of Ms Akhila Dinesh, turned out to be a rocking success. The feedback from parents was very positive, which is an impetus for the school, to organize many such fests, in the future.
