On July 25, 2024, NPSI Mysore hosted the maiden Interschool Literary Festival, Wordsworthy 2024, Celebrating the Magic Within Languages. The event brought together 78 students from six renowned schools in Mysore and Bangalore, providing a platform for young literary enthusiasts to showcase their talents.

A day-long literary spectacle marked the conclusion of months of meticulous planning and preparation. Every facet of the event was actively managed by students, from designing the décor to writing the plays and overseeing the technological details. Numerous competitions were held throughout the festival, including Intrigue, Ink and Illusion, Off the Rails, Literary Bonanza, A Ticket to Broadway, Hindi Mahasangram, and Sahitiya Siri.

The grand inauguration began with ceremonial lamp lighting and cultural performances, establishing an atmosphere for a day filled with intellectual and artistic endeavors. Students expressed gratitude to the Board of Governors, the principal, and the teachers for their support while extending their best wishes to the participants.

Distinguished literary figures adjudicated the various competitions, guaranteeing a comprehensive and impartial assessment. The fierce rivalry among participants underscored their extraordinary talent and innovative approaches.

The students then dispersed to their respective competition venues, eager to demonstrate their literary prowess in the grand WordsWorthy event.

The Valedictory ceremony commenced at 3:30 pm, featuring Ms. Sujata Rajpal, an accomplished author, freelance writer, and TEDx speaker, as the chief guest. Ms. Rajpal’s presence inspired the young writers, and her address underscored the bright future of literature, driven by passionate and talented youth. She commended NPSI Mysore for providing a platform for literary talent and emphasized that all participants were winners.

The chief guest, Ms. Sujatha Rajpal, presented awards to the winners of Wordsworthy 2024. De Paul International School, Mysore, clinched the coveted title of overall champion, securing the highest cumulative points across all competitions. Ms. Rajpal extended her congratulations to the victorious team and expressed sincere appreciation for the outstanding performances of all participants.

The valedictory ceremony showcased a captivating dance performance by students of classes 10, 11, and 12, creatively interpreting the school's vision. The event concluded with heartfelt expressions of gratitude to the Board of Governors, participating schools, dedicated students, and faculty whose collective efforts made Wordsworthy 2024 an unparalleled success. Through Wordsworthy 2024, NPSI Mysore elevated the standards of excellence.
