NPSI Mysore celebrated a significant milestone in their educational journey- the Founders' Day on 14 June, 2024. This occasion marked 11 years since the establishment of the institution, a momentous event that stood as a testimony of the foundation for the journey of NPS towards excellence in education and community service. The entire programme centered around conveying respect and gratitude to the founding members, Chairman, Dr K P Gopalkrishna, Dean, Dr. Mrs. Santhamma Gopalkrishna, Vice Chairperson Dr. Bindu Hari and other members of the Board of Governors.

The occasion was graced by the co-founder and Dean, Dr. Mrs. Santhamma Gopalkrishna and the mentor Principals of the NPS Group, Mrs. Indira Jayakrishnan and Mrs. Shantha Chandran. The day commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries and an invocation dance by students, seeking divine intervention. The Principal, Ms. Akhila Dinesh felicitated the dignitaries and shared her inspiring words, expressing thankfulness to the members of the Board and reflecting on the vision and values of our founders, which emphasize the enduring principles that guide us today.

Students showcased their talents through a fusion fiesta in music and dance, reflecting the cultural diversity and vibrancy of our institution. The highlight of the day was a specially composed song, dedicated to the founders, rendered by students and teachers.

One of the alumni students from the first batch, Mr Krishna Rao, returned to reconnect with his alma mater. In his speech, he reminisced about his formative years at school and shared insights on its profound impact in his professional journey. His achievements serve as a testament to the transformative impact of an education rooted in the values of NPS. Ms Varsha, a faculty member, from the early years, expressed her pride and honour to be an NPSite. Tushara Ravindra, a student who has been with the school, since its inception, also highlighted the pivotal role, that NPSI Mysore has played, in her journey towards progress and success.

The Dean, Dr. Mrs Santhamma Gopalkrishna,in her inspiring address, spoke about the magnificent growth of the NPS Group over the years, from humble beginnings. Her words instilled a sense of pride, gratitude, and responsibility in the hearts of students and faculty. The latest edition of the school magazine, “Silhouette 2024” was unveiled by our respected Principal and dignitaries, followed by a captivating speech by our Chief Editor, Ms. Indrani Maitra. The day ended with an articulate talk by the mentor Principal, Mrs. Indira Jayakrishnan. She highlighted and complimented each and every performance of the day and encouraged the team to keep working hard.

As the curtains were drawn on this memorable day, the NPSI Mysore team pledged to recommit itself to the principles envisioned by the founders. Their foresight and dedication continue to guide the school, as each member strives for excellence in every endeavor. Founders' Day not only celebrates our past but also energizes us for the future, reminding us of the responsibility we carry, to uphold and advance our institution's mission
