Overwhelming happiness and staunch patriotism were vivid among the students of NPSI Mysore on January 25, 2025, as we celebrated Pre Republic Day. The school campus echoed the national pride and showcased a remarkable tribute to the values enshrined in our Constitution.

The 8th-grade students organised the event and drew us to the Republic Day fervour with mesmerising programs. The 4th-grade students presented a melodious patriotic song, ‘Hum Bharath ke hai,’ and dawned the thoughts of brotherhood among us. A spectacular dance performance by the class 11 showcased the true love for our motherland. One of the highlights of the event was the confident display from the pre-primary students, who dressed up as the freedom fighters and great personalities of our country, which reminded us of their selfless service to our nation.

The principal, Ms. Akhila Dinesh, addressed the students, applauding them for their splendid and inspiring performance. She spoke about the significance of the event and urged us not only to appreciate and acknowledge the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters but also to recognise the nation’s development since its inception.

As the celebration concluded, the pride and sense of brotherhood lingered, creating lasting memories among the students.

The 76th Republic Day fervour continued on 26 January 2025 with unfurling of tri-colour flag by the respected Principal and fellow teachers.
