NPS International School, Mysore proudly hosted its annual Young Entrepreneurship Programme, themed “Fabric to Finesse,” on 14 August 2024. The event designed to foster entrepreneurial skills among students of Class 8, featuring an impressive array of student-led projects and business ideas.

The Principal of NPSI Mysore, Ms Akhila Dinesh inaugurated the programme. The judges, Ms Akshaya Shenoy and Ms Shubha Sanjay Urs, are parent partners of NPSI Mysore and renowned entrepreneurs in the city. NPSI alumnus Mr. Aryan Mohnani, a self-made entrepreneur in the field of Jewellery & Design, who joined the event, is a testament of the school’s success in ensuring all round development of students. In his address to the gathering, Aryan credited the alma mater for his success and expressed gratitude to the school for events like YEP which sowed the seeds of entrepreneurship in him.

Ms Akhila Dinesh, congratulated the budding entrepreneurs and emphasized upon the importance of learning beyond the classroom walls, mentioning that such events provide the much needed exposure to students and imbibe important values and life skills in them.

Parents turned up for the event in large numbers and made significant purchases, encouraging the upcoming innovators. In a gesture of community support, the profits from the event will be donated to a charitable cause.
