Grandparents’ Day
Our school celebrated Grandparents’ Day with great joy and excitement. The programme began with a warm welcome and the Lamp Lighting Ceremony, followed by lively dance performances by KG 1 A and KG 1 B . The little ones also spoke a few words, expressing their love for their grandparents.
To add fun, grandparents and children enjoyed games like Veggie Delight, Cup-O-Stack, and Designer Duo, which brought laughter and active participation from the audience. The Montessori Juniors presented two back-to-back dances, after which the Beginner Boys walked the ramp with confidence. Later, the Mont Beginner Girls also walked the ramp gracefully.
Children of KG 2 B performed a beautiful dance, while KG 2 A presented a meaningful tableau. The Mont Seniors gave a lively dance performance, adding more charm to the celebration. A Photo PowerPoint Presentation was also shown, capturing many wonderful moments.
The most special part of the day was when our Principal surprised everyone by inviting all the grandmothers in Mysore silk sarees to walk the ramp. It was a heartwarming sight that received loud applause.
The celebration ended with the Principal’s address and a Vote of Thanks, making the day memorable for both children and grandparents.
