“The world is full of wonders, and our little learners are ready to discover them.”

NPS International School, Mysore celebrated its Pre-Primary Graduation Day on Saturday, 7 March 2026, with great enthusiasm and joy. The event, themed “Lost in Space... Around the World,” was a vibrant celebration of learning, culture, and the remarkable journey of the young learners. The highlight of the event was the proud moment when the Montessori Seniors and KG 2 students, dressed elegantly in their graduation gowns and caps, sang melodious songs expressing gratitude to their teachers and parents. The young graduates were presented with certificates and mementos by the Principal, Ms. Akhila Dinesh, and the Deputy Commissioner of Mysuru, Mr Lakshmikanth Reddy G, marking an important milestone in their early educational journey.

The programme began with a warm welcome followed by a creative narration introducing the theme of the day. The story revolved around a curious child who, during a visit to a planetarium, embarks on an imaginative adventure who meets a friendly alien who has accidentally landed on Earth. Together, they travel around the world discovering diverse cultures, music, and dance traditions. The stage came alive as students presented energetic performances from different countries, beginning with a lively Hip Hop dance from New York and a cheerful Cowboy dance from Texas. The audience was then taken across continents through vibrant performances including a Jamaican dance from the Caribbean Islands, the dazzling Samba from Brazil, the expressive Flamenco from Spain, the energetic African dance from Africa, and a spirited Russian Folk Dance.

The cultural journey continued with performances representing the Middle East through a graceful Arab dance, followed by the elegant Chinese Fan Dance and Malaysia’s lively Joget dance. The adventure finally returned to India with a spectacular Folk Fusion dance blending styles from Punjab, Gujarat, Odisha, and Karnataka, celebrating the richness of Indian culture. The programme concluded with a grand finale titled “One World, One Family – Vasudaiva Kutumbakam,” where all the students came together on stage symbolising unity and harmony among cultures across the globe. The event ended with inspiring words from the Principal, who emphasised that education nurtures not only academics but also confidence, curiosity, compassion, and creativity. The Pre-Primary Graduation Day 2025–26 was truly a memorable celebration of the children’s growth and achievements as they step forward into new learning adventures.
