    The students of Classes 6 and 7 of NPS International, Mysuru, showcased their scientific curiosity and creativity at the much-awaited Science Exhibition – “Scilore”, held on 25th October 2025. The event provided a vibrant platform for young learners to explore and demonstrate their understanding of various scientific concepts through innovative models and experiments.

    Each section presented a unique theme that reflected different branches of science. Class 6A focused on Light and Sound, where students demonstrated fascinating experiments explaining reflection, refraction, and the behavior of sound waves. Class 6B highlighted the Application of Chemistry in Different Fields, displaying the use of chemistry in daily life—from medicines and agriculture to environmental care. Class 6C emphasized Health and Hygiene, presenting models and charts on personal hygiene, balanced nutrition, and preventive healthcare practices.

    Moving to Class 7, the exhibits were equally engaging and informative. Class 7A explored the theme of Energy, explaining different forms and sources of energy along with the importance of conservation. Class 7B focused on Adulteration, demonstrating simple tests to detect impurities in food items and raising awareness about food safety. Class 7C showcased Different Systems in the Human Body, illustrating the functioning and interdependence of various organ systems through creative and interactive displays.

    Parents and visitors were impressed by the confidence and clarity with which students presented their exhibits. The young scientists interacted effectively, answered questions with enthusiasm, and displayed a deep understanding of their topics. The exhibition not only highlighted the students’ scientific knowledge but also their communication, teamwork, and presentation skills.

    “Scilore 2025” was a grand success, truly reflecting the school’s commitment to fostering scientific thinking, curiosity, and innovation among its learners. It was a memorable day that celebrated the spirit of inquiry and hands-on learning at NPS International, Mysuru
