  • ELEGANZA 2.0 - A Day of Colour, Talent and Triumph

The campus of NPSI Mysore was abuzz with energy on 29 July 2026 as ELEGANZA 2.0: Rendezvous with Repertoire, the flagship inter-school cultural festival of NPSI Mysore, brought together over 239 participants from nine schools across Mysore and Bangalore for a day dedicated to music, dance, fashion, film, theatre, art and enterprise.

The festivities began with a formal inauguration, opening with the traditional lamp-lighting led by Principal Ms Akhila Dinesh alongside a distinguished panel of judges representing all eight events. Setting the tone for the celebrations, students of Grade XII delivered a vibrant inaugural dance performance that drew thunderous applause, after which participants dispersed to their venues for Round One.

The Principal Ms Akhila Dinesh, in her Inaugural Address said that the true value of the day lay not in the trophies at stake, but in the learning, confidence and collaboration such competitions nurture.

Through the day, eight arenas across campus came alive with talent — soulful performances in Swarnava (Music), bold expressions on the runway in Vogueverse (Fashion), striking frames in Spectra (Photography), graceful storytelling in Once Upon a Dance (Dance), dramatic depth in Vesha Arcana (Theatre), compelling narratives in Scene It All (Film), sharp pitches in Sharks & Showdown (Marketing), and imaginative strokes in Brush Hour (Art).

The evening brought the festival to a close with a valedictory ceremony, featuring a spirited musical performance by the school band and an address by celebrated actor Ms. Pavitra Lokesh, the Chief Guest, whose three-decade career spans Kannada, Telugu and Tamil cinema.

The event culminated in the award ceremony felicitating all winners and presentation of the Overall Championship Trophy to De Paul International School, Mysore, marking a memorable finale to an inspiring celebration of student talent.

As the final applause faded, ELEGANZA 2.0 drew to a close, leaving behind not just champions, but memories, friendships and experiences that every participating school will carry home for years to come
