NPS International, Mysore, proudly hosted the Interact Club Installation Ceremony for the Academic Year 2026–27, celebrating the induction of a new team of student leaders committed to the ideals of service, leadership, and community engagement.

The ceremony was graced by Rotarian M. N. Venkatesh, President, Rotary Mysore, as the Chief Guest; Rotarian Dr. Nanjaraje S. Urs, Youth Service Director, Rotary Year 2026–27, as the Guest of Honour; and Group Captain Rotarian Vinay Vittal as the Distinguished Guest. The programme was presided over by the Principal, Ms. Akhila Dinesh, whose constant encouragement has been instrumental in nurturing a strong culture of service among students.

The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolising the triumph of knowledge over ignorance and hope over darkness. In her welcome address, Principal Ms. Akhila Dinesh highlighted how the Interact Club nurtures leadership, teamwork, communication, compassion, and problem-solving through service. She appreciated the previous year's members for their impactful contributions, including the distribution of over 500 kg of food grains, 90 blankets, and 500+ books and notebooks to institutions supporting senior citizens, orphaned children, and differently abled individuals. Quoting Mahatma Gandhi, "The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others," she encouraged students to uphold the spirit of Service Above Self.

Following the introduction, Chief Guest Rotarian M. N. Venkatesh addressed the gathering with an inspiring message on leadership and service. A key highlight of the programme was the installation of the newly elected Interact Club office bearers for the Academic Year 2026–27. The newly installed team comprised President Mayukaa R., Vice President Shraavya B. Machaiah, Secretary Maanya B., Treasurer Vanisha V., Sergeant-at-Arms Ishaan S., and Editor-in-Chief Samanvitha. The installation ceremony was conducted by the Principal and the dignitaries, formally entrusting the student leaders with their responsibilities.

The Oath-Taking Ceremony was administered by Rotarian Dr. Nanjaraje S. Urs, during which the newly elected office bearers pledged to uphold the ideals of Rotary, discharge their responsibilities with sincerity, and serve the community with dedication and integrity. The newly installed President, Mayukaa R., delivered the Acceptance Speech, expressing gratitude for the trust placed in her and also reaffirmed her team's commitment to carrying forward the Interact Club's legacy of service and leadership. Later, Rotarian Dr. Nanjaraje S. Urs, an accomplished healthcare professional and Youth Service Director, addressed the gathering and inspired the students to follow the ideals of Nelson Mandela.

The Interact Club Installation Ceremony 2026–27 marked the beginning of another promising year of student leadership and community service, reaffirming NPS International, Mysore's commitment to nurturing socially responsible and compassionate global citizens.
