NLS Debate Competition
A National Law School, Bangalore conducted Junior Debate Competition on 10, 11 and 12 November, 2017. The campus was beautiful and the law aspirants of Grade 10 and 11 made up their mind to compete in the event. They had four preliminary rounds to clear and break through to the quarter finals. In all rounds they had interesting motions to debate about, such as, "This house regrets the rise of spotify and other streaming platforms" and "This house as the city of London allows Uber to continue its services". Every round was fun filled and exciting with both teams putting forth their best and making it difficult for the adjudicator to decide the victorious team. It was a huge learning experience for each one as participants were given detailed feedback after each session. This was an enthralling experience and the students were extremely proud to represent NPS International Mysore at an event where there were students from all parts of the country.

Vidhatri Urs of Class 6 was awarded the Best Lady Golfer at the Round Table India Open - Golf Tour 2017.

Chess Wizzard

Dhatri Umesh from class 5C participated in various chess tournaments and has secured places under different levels.

• Secured 3rd place in 3rd State Open Rapid Chess Tournament under 11
• Secured 2nd place in Sri KS Ramakrishna Memorial State Open Rapid Chess Tournament Under 11
• Secured 12th place in Mysore Chess Center and Mall Of Mysore KSORCT under 13
• Secured 1st place in Rotary Swarna Chess Championship -2017 at (Puttur) under 11
• Out of 359 participants she secured 4th place in 5th BKDCA International Rapid Chess Tournament under 11
• Out of 279 participants she secured 3rd place in 6th BKDCA International Rapid Chess Tournament under 11
• Secured 1st place in Inner District Open Rapid Chess Cup under 11
