Aadhya Lakshmi from grade 11 - A participated in Karnataka Equestran Challenge and won bronze medal in center hacking.

Impressionz 2017
A cultural and sporting extravaganza was held by NPS- Gopalpuram Chennai from 5th to 7th of July 2017.
The students from Class 11 and 12 took part in an expanse of 35 events which varied from Quizzing, Futsall, Fifa, Dance and Fashion show.
Every event was taken up by the students with a lot of enthusiasm and commitment which brought them a lot of accolades and appreciation.
The students won prizes in Fashion show, free style football, futsall, comic strip designing, lawyers up, What's the word, Improv music, Fifa, Impressionz idol, short Film making and Cryptic crossword.
It was indeed an enriching experience and an excellent platform for learning for all the students who participated in the event.

MUN 2017
Model United Nations is a magnificent opportunity for youth to engage in debates on global issues. This was conducted by NPS HSR layout, Bangalore on 21 and 22 July 2017. Ten students from our school participated in this interschool competition.
The environment there was charged with enthusiasm and filled with information which proved to be undoubtedly an enlightening event.

There were several challenging committees with different agendas such as:

• Disarmaments and International Security Committee (DISEC)
  Agenda - Fourth generation warfare in the Middle East.
• Continuous Crisis Security Council
• United Nations Human Rights Council
  Agenda - Human rights violation with regards to prosecution of Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar.
• World Economic Forum
  Agenda - Investment for development of countries with special reference to African nations.

Through these four committees our students found the right kind of exposure in the world’s current affairs. It was truly a learning experience for the students.
