    Field Trip to Hotel Ruchi

The commerce and humanities students of class 11 visited Hotel Ruchi on the 7th of February 2020. They were provided with an insight into the technical management of the hotel. They were first taken to the banquet hall where they learnt about how accommodation requirements of customers are catered to. They were also told about staffing requirements and different kinds of customers who visit.

The students were then taken to the lawn where they learnt about the importance of execution and planning. Our inquisitive students put forth unique questions that helped them learn and connect with their theoretical taught sessions. They learnt about how marketing takes place for the hotel, the methods of recruiting staff obligations and norms to be followed, importance of peak seasons and significance of having constant statistics on the business.

After an informative tour of the hotel the students were provided with refreshments. Students expressed their gratitude to the team at the hotel. They returned to school content and filled with new knowledge, pertaining to nitty gritties of hotel management.
