Multiplication-Bindi Activity
Multiplication is a repeated form of addition. To reinforce the concept of multiplication a Bindi activity was conducted in the math lab for class II. In this simple interesting activity they learnt how to find the product with the help of vertical and horizontal lines by counting the number of intersecting points, and sticking bindis on those points. They tried this method with different numbers by drawing horizontal and vertical lines. This made their learning fun filled. They were also excited to learn another way of finding product without the help of multiplication tables.

Students enjoyed the narration of the lesson and were brimming with ideas to put up their best in the form of role play. They were divided into different groups and were given a stipulated time to plan their performance. After an enthusiastic discussion they were finally ready to put their show.
As their group names were called out they presented the story in a spectacular way and that showed the meticulous planning they had done which avoided chaos and confusion. It was a moment of pride to watch them perform with zeal. The students had also got creative properties which had a lot of detailing and the best thing about it was, it was completely prepared by them. Adventure Hunt
Outdoor activities are a great opportunity for children to get some fresh air and help to work out on fine motor skills and gross motor skills. Adventure hunt is an outdoor activity for children to identify the letter 'a'. Children of KGI were taken to the play area and were explained that they have to hunt for the letter 'a' which was hidden in the sand pit. Once the student finds the letter 'a' the student steps forward and hands it over to the teacher. The task was to say the sound of the letter and name an object related to letter 'a.' These activities are also a great way to encourage teamwork and help children to master key skills. It was super fun!
