Nothing can be more exciting for children than a ‘Nature walk’ around their own school campus. The KGII children were taken for a nature walk in the school garden to see the different kinds of plants like shrubs, bushes and thorny plants. Children were excited and surprised to see the vegetable garden with tomatoes, papaya, lemon, and watermelon and mint being cultivated. The teacher spoke to the children about the fun and benefits of having one’s own garden. Many little voices spoke up saying that they too had planted seeds and saplings in their home garden.
