The students of class 8 visited 'Ajitha Nele', Nele Foundation Mysore, a charitable institution for the underprivileged children on Wednesday, 27 November 2019. The profit made from the Young Entrepreneurship Programme is donated to charity every year and this time it was given to Nele Foundation. The students contributed a sum of rupees Eighty Thousand and provisions for one month, and did their bit towards social responsibility. The students spent quality time with the inmates of the home, interacting with them and entertaining them with music and dance. The inmates of Ajitha Nele also showcased their talent by singing and dancing with a lot of energy and enthusiasm. Mr. Mahesh Ballal, a parent partner of our school, had made arrangements for a sumptuous lunch for all. The members of the Nele Foundation spoke about the work culture therein. The visit proved to have a positive impact on the students as they experienced the joy of giving and realised how grateful and blessed they are!
